Depending on your provider, you may find that you can inexpensively upgrade mobile phone plans. While many people will see no reason to do this, it can be advantageous if you find that any saving you might make from a lower priced plan is wiped out by excess usage fees. With capped mobile phone plans especially, the difference in included usage between two plans that only differ by $10 per month can be astounding. It can be easy to initially underestimate the usage you will need, so be sure to at least consider an upgrade if it will end up saving you more by reducing the excess usage fees you get charged.
