Vodafone Mobile Phone Plans

Vodafone offers a full range of choices for Australian subscribers with its custom Vodafone mobile phone plans. There are currently three Vodafone mobile phone plans to choose from-not as extensive as those of Telstra and Optus, but they cover most of the market for phone subscriptions and make choosing a plan easier for first-time users. To start you off, here's a list of the Vodafone mobile phone plans available today.

Vodafone Mobile Phone Cap Plans

Vodafone's cap plans let you enjoy a month-to-month setup with a choice of caps to control your spending. There are currently four Vodafone mobile phone plans under this category.

  • Maxi Cap: Choose this if you make less than 5 calls per day and find other Vodafone mobile phone plans too expensive for your needs.
  • Super Cap: These are for light users who make 5 to 10 calls a day and would like the discount rates of Vodafone mobile phone plans.
  • Mighty Cap: These Vodafone mobile phone plans are ideal for moderate to heavy users making more than 10 calls daily, but are not willing to spend for a premium plan.
  • Mega Cap: Go for this plan if you make 15 or more calls a day and need to stay in touch via SMS, email, and other channels available on standard Vodafone mobile phone plans.

Vodafone Mobile Phone Hot Plans

These Vodafone mobile phone plans come with new handsets offered for free or at sizeable discounts. This makes it a great choice for first-time subscribers who don't have a mobile yet. In exchange for the phone, you usually have to stay on Vodafone mobile phone plans for a given period (usually 12-24 months). You can choose from four price points, all of which offer great rates for voice calls, video calls, SMS, MMS, and other services standard to Vodafone mobile phone plans. Each Hot Plan also comes with one of three Bonus Packs: free messages, free call minutes to other Vodafone users, or free minutes from 8pm to 8am.

Vodafone Mobile Phone Prepay Plans

Vodafone mobile phone plans also come in a prepay system, which lets you control your spending and have the freedom to quit anytime. The tradeoff is that the rates are higher than postpaid Vodafone mobile phone plans, and some perks are exclusive to postpaid subscribers. There are several ways to buy credits: over the phone, online, from your phone menu, or from nearby outlets.
